$60,000 Sex - Was it worth it?
If I walked into a room full of young high school or college students and ask the above question, many would laugh or even crack jokes. But if I ask, "How many of you have been at a party and taken a young lady off for a quick sexual moment; maybe after a movie or after just chillin' one thing led to another?
Another good question I generally would ask, "How many of you have gone home for spring or summer break, connected with an old girl friend or hooked up with a little cutie couple of times before heading back to school?" Nevertheless, in either of these situations, "how many of you had sex without a condom?" Some would say they have...
Well if any of these above questions happen, many of you could have had $60,000 Sex!!!
Once that statement has been said, many of the young men are asking, "How is that $60,000 Sex?" A one time hook up or quick sexual encounter could have resulted in you getting a phone call informing you that the young lady is pregnant! If you have received such a phone call, many have either denied the phone call or avoided confirming if it's true or not. Sadly, that will be one of your biggest mistakes and a mistake that could last for many years, if not a lifetime.
Some are still asking "How"? If you add up the medical costs of having a baby, three to four years of caring for a newborn, and the average monthly child support of $250-$350 plus interest, you will come to $60,000 or more in four years. Multiple the same numbers for eighteen (18) years and you have come close to if not more than $270,000 in debt!!! WOW!!! Question, "Is it worth it? Or was it worth it?"
